Evolution
Magikarp evolves into Gyarados starting at level 20.
Patterns
Patterns of Magikarp are possible to fish up at Emera Beach while fishing with a 
Magik Rod.
They are able to breed, but offspring will always be that of an ordinary Magikarp.
Patterned Magikarp do NOT evolve!
