Magikarp is a Pokémon that can be obtained through the Lab, and is possible to be fished up at Emera Beach with the use of any rod.

Patterns of Magikarp are possible to fish up at Emera Beach while fishing with a Magik Rod.

They are able to breed, but offspring will always be that of an ordinary Magikarp.

Patterned Magikarp do NOT evolve!
