Both of these issues have now been addressed in a complete overhaul of the quest! Not only is the quest entirely skill-based now (there are goals you need to work towards instead of hoping for lady luck), but you can now also play hide and seek with the harvest sprites once more in order to get their shiny eggs. There were, however, always several problems with this quest: For example, shiny harvest sprites were unobtainable, and most tasks were either luck-based, or - shall we say - a bit ridiculous.
Both of these issues have now been addressed in a complete overhaul of the quest! Not only is the quest entirely skill-based now (there are goals you need to work towards instead of hoping for lady luck), but you can now also play hide and seek with the harvest sprites once more in order to get their shiny eggs. Good luck! ... Uh, I mean: Work hard!
