Shaymin is a Legendary that was released through a summer Event from 29/Jul/2013 to 25/Aug/2013.

Shaymin's three gifts

Shaymin was once again available and released through another Summer time Shaymin 2014 event on 23/July/2014 to 10/Sep/2014. Users had to interact, and Shaymin would randomly appear on your userbar. By clicking on the Shaymin icon on your userbar, it would be willing to give you three gifts; a Gracidea, a Shaymin Plushie, or a Shaymin Egg. Users can only pick one gift, but once you pick a gift, Shaymin can appear on your userbar again if you're lucky enough.
